Special Session on Artificial Intelligence and Digital Heritage at ICAART 2021

The 13th International Conference on Agents and Artificial Intelligence (ICAART 2021), to be held February 4th-6th in Vienna, Austria, will include a Special Session on “Artificial Intelligence and Digital Heritage: Challenges and Opportunities”.

The purpose of ICAART is to bring together researchers, engineers and practitioners interested in the theory and applications in the areas of Agents and Artificial Intelligence.

The special session on Artificial Intelligence and Digital Heritage welcomes papers that reflect upon, discuss and present the technical and societal challenges (e.g. labor to produce labeled datasets, heterogeneity of data, bias in training sets) digital heritage professionals and researchers are facing when trying to capitalize on the transformative power of artificial intelligence in the context of digital archive, image, and audio/visual collections.

In addition to position papers, the organizers seek papers in which project consortia discuss their approach and present first results.

Interested participants are invited to submit their papers until November 26th, 2020.
