Digital Humanities Doctoral Seminars

This doctoral seminar series is organized via Zoom in the framework of the Ontologies for Digital Humanities (O4DH) project, and aims to provide an introduction to digital humanities.

The seminars will focus on the digital representation of cultural objects in the form of linked and open data, accessible by means of standards of the Semantic Web. To validate the acquired knowledge, the seminar includes a full day of hands-on practice on how to query and to structure data in cultural heritage collections.

Practical details

Two seminars, each lasting two days, will be offered via Zoom:

August 3 and 4
September 3 and 4

The registration fee is 150 euros for the 2 days for those holding a grant for their research/studies. For those attending on a personal basis, the fee is 50 euros for both days, if you are taking the training on a personal basis.
