Elisa Nury is a Research Scientist in the group Digital Humanities+ at the Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics (SIB). She is involved in the H2020 project OPERAS-P, exploring current and emerging writing practices of scholarly communication.

Elisa is also a Senior FNS Researcher (PostDoc) at the University of Geneva for the Grammateus project, as Digital Humanities specialist. She is developing an interface for visualizing ancient Greek documentary papyri.

Previously, she has worked at the University of Grenoble for Fontegaia, a project of digital library for Italian studies. She obtained a PhD in Digital Humanities from King’s College London, on the topic of automatic collation for critical editions (her thesis is available online).
