Anne-Gaëlle Lardeau embraced a career in scientific communication after training in biostatistics (Universitl Aix-Marseille) and business administration at IAE Aix en Provence.

Since 2000, she has been managing exhibition and public outreach programs in international contexts and well-known organisations such as the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, the Olympic Museum, and CERN. During this time, she was invited in University Stendhal-Grenoble 3 to give lectures on scientific communication project management. Her interest in art allowed her to carry on the production of major artists’ exhibitions such as Pierre Soulages and Ferdinand Hodler.

Anne Gaëlle joined EPFL in 2015-2016 to coordinate the ArtLab launch program, and was appointed manager in September, 2018. ArtLab is EPFL’s cultural platform where art, research and technology meet. Attached to the College of Humanities (CDH), Artlab presents temporary and long-term exhibitions that bring the world of science and the humanities closer together.
