Call for Swiss-French projects on sustainability and/or digitization

The Alliance Campus Rhodanien (ACR) network has launched a call for projects from French and Swiss parter universities, including the University of Lausanne (UNIL), in the fields of sustainability and/or digitization. The joint start-up fund will support one-year projects with funding amounts of CHF 8,000-15,000 (EUR 7,500-14,000).

The ACR was formed in 2017 to strengthen academic synergies between the University of Lausanne (UNIL), the University of Geneva (UNIGE), Grenoble Alpes University (UGA), the University of Applied Sciences Western Switzerland (HES-SO), and the University of Lyon (UdL). The University of Savoie Mont Blanc (USMB) joined the network in 2020.

The network aims to facilitate collaborations between the institutions, intensify scientific research in the region, and to encourage participation in European funding programs.

The objectives of this call for projects are the following:

  • To encourage the development of long-term academic and scientific cooperation
  • To support partnerships that encourage the development of larger research projects
  • To encourage closer ties with actors outside the academic world (public, para-public, private or associative sectors)
  • To link existing projects in Switzerland and France.

Proposals can be either discipline-focused or interdisciplinary, however particular attention will be given to proposals that promote interdisciplinarity. Applicants from UNIL must be professors, senior lecturers, or lecturers.

The deadline to submit a project is January 3rd, 2021. View the full call (PDF in French).
