Job: Semantic web developer, MSH Val de Loire

The Maison des Sciences de l’Homme Val de Loire is recruiting a semantic web developer for a 1-year contract based in Tours, France, to begin on October 1, 2020.

The Maison des Sciences de l’Homme Val de Loire is supervised by the CNRS and the universities of Tours and Orleans, and currently brings together 22 research teams covering all the disciplines of the social and human sciences (SHS).

The semantic web developer will be integrated into the IT department of the Digital Workshop; a service for researchers that provides digital support services for research projects. He or she will carry out a research and development mission for publishing and querying SHS data in the semantic web. In collaboration with the engineer in charge of publishing the datasets, the successful candidate will deploy a graphical query editor in Javascript (Sparnatural) for different SHS disciplines, and will work on its integration with different data exhibition platforms.
